Last month, we were delighted to team up with our Chelmsford-based Studio Partner Regal Kitchens and German manufacturer Vauth Sagel to offer a kitchen design workshop for Southend University’s Interior Design students.
The event was held to give the Interior Design students an insight into kitchen design, to help them decide whether to specialise in the field. It took place at Regal Kitchens’ Chelmsford showroom.
Experts from both Häfele and Vauth Sagel were there to give design talks about making the most of available kitchen space and the space-saving solutions that are available in the kitchen. The students were then challenged to design a kitchen incorporating some of the storage solutions they had viewed; a winning design was chosen by the experts at the end of the day.
Emma Mcloughlin from Regal Kitchens told us “We try and organise an event every six months for the students to learn about kitchen design. Having talks from Häfele and Vauth Sagel was a great way to demonstrate to the students the supply chain involved here at Regal Kitchens.”
